Our mission
To make it simpler to stay meaningfully informed about the things we care for, through thoughtful technology that respects privacy and everyday life.
Our story · In development
We believe technology should help us stay close to the people, pets, plants and homes we care about, and then quietly step aside so we can get on with our lives.
Kinvalis is a young, Germany-based venture in development, built around that belief.
What inspired the name
The name
We chose the name Kinvalis because it joins the two ideas we want to stay true to as we build.
Caring for the people, pets, plants and homes close to you is personal. Technology that helps with it should earn its place: by respecting your privacy, being honest about what it knows, and staying yours. To us, neither idea works without the other.
Why we exist
To make it simpler to stay meaningfully informed about the things we care for, through thoughtful technology that respects privacy and everyday life.
A world where useful home technology gives people more understanding and freedom, without asking them to trade away their privacy or independence.
What guides us
Privacy, understanding, reliability and ownership. They help us decide what to build, and what to leave out.
Everyday home activity belongs to the people who live there. Our aim is to keep that history on your own hub by default, and to explain clearly anything that would leave it.
Privacy
A helpful update should make sense at a glance and be honest about how sure it can be. A little context is worth more than another stream of alerts.
Understanding
Good technology works quietly in the background. We want Kinvalis to be dependable in everyday life, and to say clearly when information is missing or unavailable.
Reliability
Buying a product should mean getting lasting value from it. Our aim is to keep essential features without mandatory monthly subscriptions, and to make any optional service transparent.
Ownership
Where we are
Kinvalis is at an early stage: we’re shaping ideas, learning about real everyday needs and working toward a first useful experience. Nothing is available yet. Rather than promise everything at once, we want to start with something genuinely useful, listen to real feedback and grow from there.
Our work on Kinvalis is based in Germany. It’s where the idea is taking shape.
We’re still shaping and refining our ideas, and we’ll say clearly when something becomes available.
We want to understand real everyday needs before making promises. What people tell us helps decide what comes first.
